Our Fifth Decade - The 1970s

Increased competition for entertainment dollars and the general malaise of the 1970s took a real toll on Janesville Little Theatre's fortunes.  By the time JLT celebrated its 50th Anniversary, most of the founders were gone, and some would argue that her best days were behind her.  However, JLT continued to prosper financially and continued to experiment with traveling and alternative formats.  These experiments would pay off during the crisis that lay ahead.
