When a bus gets stranded at a roadside diner during a fierce snowstorm, its passengers are forced to spend a long, cold night together. As tempers flare and secrets surface, each character is challenged to confront their own truths in this poignant, character-driven drama.
No preparation required—cold readings from the script. All experience levels are welcome!

- Grace – Restaurant owner and widow (30–50)
- Will – Small-town sheriff (30+)
- Cherie – Attractive nightclub singer (20–30) Must be willing to sing
- Dr. Lyman – Cheerfully drunken former college professor (40+)
- Carl – Bus driver (30–50)
- Bo – Young cowboy, “wild as a bronco” (20–30)
- Virgil – Older cowboy, father figure to Bo (35+) Guitar experience appreciated

Getting ready to audition for a Janesville Little Theatre production? Here's everything you need to know:
- No Preparation Needed: You don't need to prepare a reading in advance. Auditions consist of reading from the script and interacting with other actors who are also auditioning.
- Versatility Matters: You may be asked to read for multiple roles during the audition.
- Forms to Bring: Please print and complete a copy of the JLT Talent Information Form (currently being updated) and Photo Release Form (linked below) to bring with you. Don’t worry—additional copies will also be available at the audition venue.
