AUDITION NOTICE
Last of the Red Hot Lovers (1969) by Neil Simon
Summary
In 1969 a restaurant owner tries his hand at adultery. Barry’s best idea is to bring women to his mother’s apartment while she’s on her volunteer shift at the hospital. His attempts to get to know the ladies before committing the deed ends up ruining their time. This comedy revolving around three consecutive two person scenes has a lot to say about the sexual promiscuity of the 60’s. Neil Simon weaves another classic witty comedy of puns and physical bits that seem so human you can’t help but feel sympathy for these sinful characters.

Audition Tips
You do not need to prepare a reading to audition for a JLT play. Auditions consist of reading from the script and interacting with other actors who are auditioning. You may be asked to read for several roles. Please print and fill out a copy of the JLT Talent Information Form and Photo Release Form (below) to bring with you to your audition. Copies will be also available at the audition. If you are chosen for a role and have not been in a JLT production in the previous year, you will also be asked to sign a photo release so we can use photos from the play for publicity.
