Audition Tips

 Audition Guidelines
Getting ready to audition for a Janesville Little Theatre production? Here's everything you need to know:
  • No Preparation Needed: You don't need to prepare a reading in advance. Auditions consist of reading from the script and interacting with other actors who are also auditioning.
  • Versatility Matters: You may be asked to read for multiple roles during the audition.
  • Forms to Bring: Please print and complete a copy of the JLT Talent Information Form (currently being updated) and Photo Release Form (linked below) to bring with you.  Don’t worry—additional copies will also be available at the audition venue.
If you’re cast in a role and haven’t participated in a JLT production in the past year, you’ll be asked to sign a photo release form, allowing us to use photos from the play for promotional purposes.

We can’t wait to see you shine on stage!
