The Creaking Chair (1931)

Picture
Publicity photo from The Creaking Chair.

The Creaking Chair is a Farcical Mystery about the excavation of King Tut's tomb.
Even though The Creaking Chair is listed on our webpage as our fourth production, the program below states that it is our ninth production.  In a way, both are correct.  In the days before television, JLT would stage many minor one act plays in between major productions.  Some running only one night during the middle of the week.  Many of those one act plays were written by our own members.  Unfortunely our records of those minor productions are very poor.  Even more unfortunately the scripts of those plays are lost to us as well.
